This is in large part due to the region's sea-to-table proximity along with the farm-to-table approach. Istria's six JRE designated restaurants never disappoint, with their trusted quality and never ending passion for food, tradition and local produce. Konoba Experience
Experiencing a konoba is a must ... casual & relaxed, the focus is on preparing fresh local food the traditional way. Typically family run, and specializing in either local meat and game, the freshest catch from the Adriatic, or the truffles from the local Motovun forest, you will be greeted with a welcoming smile and you are sure to leave with a full belly and warm memories!
